History of Blossom Ragdolls

For over 30 years I have had Ragdolls as my altered pets.  On January 2005, I sat at my computer,
looked at my beautiful pet Ragdoll and Blossom Ragdolls was born.

I knew it was time to give back to my Ragdolls that had always done the giving to me!

As a life-long horsewoman, I knew already the hard work and commitment that I was embarking on, in my thoughts of
Blossom Ragdolls.  I believe my passion for this Ragdoll breed, combined with the enormously high standards that I have
for the breed, plus my impeccable care of my animals, is the perfect fit to give back to my Ragdolls.

Please be sure to see the                                       page to learn of my extensive and dedicated life with horses.

All through this time, I had a pet Ragdoll as my precious indoor family member.

Our cats and kittens health and happiness comes first at Blossom Ragdolls, and as a Christian family,
equally important is our honest and caring relationship with everyone around us.

As a responsible breeder, we constantly work to improve the breed and
breed toward the written CFA or
TICA Ragdoll breed standard.

We proudly care for our Blossom families with a sincere, lasting relationship,
and that applies to pet, show alter or show breeder kittens.

I have a burning passion for my Blossom Ragdolls, and all that is involved.

Blossom Ragdolls carries-on my
expectations of excellence in all that I do.

It is my joy and honor to properly give back to this precious Ragdoll breed.

Please enjoy your look around our home.  Here you will meet the loves of my life,
our beautiful Ragdoll family.
Every cat in our home is shown on this site!

Romans 8:38-39:

And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love.  Neither death nor life, neither angels nor
demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from
God’s love.  No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate
us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.

A word from Dana, proud member of the current TICA Ragdoll Breed Committee:

Please don't be fooled about mink, sepia and/or solid colors!

These colors are
NOT RARE COLORS of the Ragdoll breed, as some breeders might say,
and they are not even accepted colors of the TICA Ragdoll Standard!

and these mink/sepia/solid colors are not blue-eyed & pointed cats.

These mink/sepia/solid colors are very wrong, and even harmful, for our now established Ragdoll.
They were used at the very start of the development of our breed, and they are no longer needed, nor desired.

These colors are
NOT ALLOWED in Championship Division of the shows, and I will work hard to keep this rule!

Mink/Sepia/Solid colors are a GIANT STEP BACKWARD for the Ragdoll breed, on many levels!

Please see my  2010 Shows page, and read about Denny Dayton, and what he told all Ragdoll breeders at this great event of
the 7th International Ragdoll Congress in Denver, Colorado.  Denny is one of the very first developers of our precious breed,
and he begged all Ragdoll breeders to never use these mink/sepia/solid cats
in our
"blue-eyed pointed" Ragdolls!

As ethical and reputable Ragdoll breeders, our primary job is to BREED FOR THE BETTERMENT OF THE BREED!

The developers of the Ragdoll breed ALWAYS intended for the Ragdoll cat to be a

Please do not support these mink/sepia/solid NON POINTED colors in your kitten purchase!

I will always work hard to keep the Ragdoll as a BLUE EYED POINTED BREED!
