Cat Food:
We feed these high quality, grain free foods, below, at Blossom Ragdolls. We believe in putting our money into high quality foods, and not to the vet after bad quality foods. Ragdolls must have high quality foods! We like Grain-free, Can & Dry at Blossom Ragdolls.
Your Blossom baby is raised on these foods. Please do not switch foods on your new baby! Feed this can food AM & PM. The dry food is out 24/7.
Your new Blossom baby will be highly dependent on the can food, below. It’s important to feed can food AM & PM.
They grow into the dry food, as they get a little older. Put the dry food out now, so they can learn to eat it. A diet of all can food is not perfect either. They need can food & dry food for a good balanced nutrition.

These foods are selected to be easy on your new baby’s tummy, and with high quality ingredients.
Refrigerate the left-over in a covered plastic container. Next feeding, microwave just the chill off of the food. Do not overheat. It only takes a few seconds.

We believe a water fountain is important for your Ragdoll to promote good hydration. Our cats love their water fountains!
Litter & Litterboxes:
Unscented clay clumpable litter of any brand.
I use & like Tidy Cat LItter
Use a large, uncovered plastic litter box. This box is very nice, durable, with high sides.
We believe the box covers do nothing but trap the smell inside the box, which is not pleasant for the cat. Covers are also in the way of keeping the box clean. Your litter boxes should be cleaned twice a day, every day.
Two boxes per kitten/cat is better than one box per kitten/cat.

Cat Toys:
Rattle balls, and Yeoww Catnip toys are the best. Choose toys without feathers attached.
Feather wands are wonderful fun & bonding time with your kitten/cat.
PLEASE do not leave feathers out unattended with your kitten/cat.
Feathers can splinter in your cat’s throat.
Treats:
We don’t give a lot of treats here, because we have learned that they can cause diarrhea. Our cats eat extremely well without treats. The food above is high quality, grain-free that our cats eat at Blossom Ragdolls. Give treats very sparingly.
Stella & Chewy Morsels - Freeze-dried chicken.
Grooming Rake We use this Furminator comb for everyday use. We could not live without it. This comb says for dogs, but it is wonderful for our Ragdolls.: You must comb your Blossom kitten/cat to the skin, not just on top of the hair. Combing your kitten/cat is important about once a week, or more.
Cat Tree is very important for your kitten/cat. Be careful about buying a cat tree online, because a lot of the trees online are flimsy and terrible quality. Choosing your cat tree at a pet store is a great way to buy a tree. You want cat trees that are real wood and real carpet. Here are some recommended cat trees:
